6 Perfect Coastal Bedroom Paint Colors

Don’t paint a single wall without reading this post first! These are the best paint colors to create the calm, coastal bedroom you’re looking for!

One of my favorite ways to change the color of a space on a budget is pant. It can just change SO much.

I’m speaking from first hand experience – we just recently painted our primary bedroom (pictures shortly!) and I’m in love.

I figured this is the perfect time to share with you my favorite paint colors for a coastal vibe in your bedroom.

6 Favorite Picks for Coastal Bedroom Paint Colors

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace

Bedroom sources: Upholstered Bed | Rug | Nightstand (similar “look for less” nightstand) | Wall Sconces | Duvet Cover | White Linen Euro Shams | Blue & White Pillow Covers | Blue Lumbar Pillow | Drapes (“snow white” color | Curtain Rod | Clip Rings | Woven Shades (“Tibet Ivory” color) | Rattan Chair | Sunset Artwork | White Vase | Hydrangeas | Palm Stems

I mentioned that we just recently repainted our bedroom and Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace was what we went with. I’m SO happy with our choice!

BM Chantilly Lace is the perfect creamy white paint color that doesn’t have any yellow undertones and creates a natural warm space without feeling sterile.

I lean way more towards white, light, and bright and even with our white decor and bedding in here, I have never once felt this bedroom is cold or lacks character. I am in love with this color and think it’s great for a calming, coastal bedroom!

Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige

Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige is an extremely popular paint color because of its versatility.

It has warmer undertones which means it can work great in lower lighting. Since coastal colors typically consist of blues, whites, and neutrals, it’s the perfect backdrop for any coastal bedding or decor you want to add in your space!

Benjamin Moore Hale Navy

If you’re feeling a little bolder, Benjamin Moore Hale Navy is a stunning choice.

For decor styles that lean more nautical (think things like boats or lighthouse decor), Hale Navy is a great choice.

And don’t be scared because it’s a darker color. While it seems counterintuitive, painting a room a dark color can actually make it feel larger rather than smaller!

But if you’re nervous about doing the all over color, try your hand at an accent or feature wall in this color instead! You’ll still get the nautical and coastal feel, without the pigmented color.

Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray

Before we refreshed our bedroom, we had it painted in Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray.

I loved this color! It felt very calm and neutral and because we have so much natural light in our bedroom, it always leaned more gray than greige.

If you like the idea of greige and don’t want to go as dark as Accessible Beige, Edgecomb Gray is a great choice!

Sherwin Williams Krypton

Blue gray paint colors are absolutely a staple when it comes to a coastal home paint palette.

The mix of the blue and the gray in a paint color marries the sea and sky to create the serene ambiance that makes for a relaxing bedroom wall color.

Sherwin Williams Krypton is a very popular choice and for good reason! The minimal undertones are great for any lighting situation or any size bedroom.

Benjamin Moore Iceberg

Rounding out the list is another great light blue gray paint color – Iceberg, which is from Benjamin Moore.

Much like Sherwin Williams Krypton, this color is the perfect balance of blue and gray without feeling drab or boring.

This is of course not an exhaustive list, but hopefully this takes out some of the guesswork when trying to go for the right shades of paint in your coastal bedroom. Happy painting!
