Gathering around a beautifully set table to celebrate Easter captures the essence of warmth and togetherness.

I love being able to host for any occasion, but Easter is one of my favorites for sure.

I try to make sure that for any event I’m hosting at my house, it’s not just about aesthetics. It’s important to let it reflect the joy of the actual season or holiday.

And of course, you guys know that I’m all about that coastal design style. I really enjoyed making this coastal Easter tablescape. So, I thought it’d be a great chance to show you some ideas you can take right from me to your own tables!

Elements of the Perfect Easter Tablescape

Mixing Traditional and Modern

Easter decor typically include bunnies, eggs, and pastel colors – all of which I love. You can easily add in some rattan or wood tones to those elements for a classic coastal vibe.

A classic Easter tablescape might feature a vintage tablecloth adorned with embroidered rabbits, or showcase a floral print with a centerpiece of soft pink roses. While a modern twist could include sleek lines and bold hues like a deep blue or emerald green.

Classic Easter Decor

For another Easter tablescape idea, consider adding in something like heirloom china in a chinoiserie print. Quaint, hand-painted decor items would also be pretty on your tabletop!

If you don’t have heirloom or antique china, you can get something like I have from Cailíní Coastal which are these stunning plates and chargers. They are simple, neutral, and perfect for your Easter brunch tablescape!

Color Palette Ideas

Traditional Easter color schemes usually include soft, delicate spring shades, but feel free to get creative with your choices!

Pastels and Florals

A personal favorite of mine, lighter shades of blue, yellow, pink and white make for the perfect calming color palette.

Pair these colors with an abundance of fresh, fragrant flowers to bring spring indoors.

Whimsical Rustic Charm

If you want to bring in a more rustic or nautical look, try burlap runners. Earthy terracotta pots to hold your flowers would also be a great option!

Playful placements or bunny-shaped figurines like mine would be a perfect touch!

You could even do something super cute like tiny teacups hanging from the branches of an indoor “tree” to add an unexpected twist to the table.

Natural Elements

Easter = Spring = Flowers! It’s when everything starts to bloom again and when we start to see life come back in to nature.

Incorporating natural elements into your tablescape not only ties it into the surrounding environment, but also infuses it with an organic and earthy aesthetic.

Fresh Flowers and Greenery

Nothing says spring like an assortment of daisies, tulips, and daffodils.

Fresh flowers and greenery can be showcased in myriad ways. From small, delicate posies in eggshell vases to giant, cascading arrangements that become the focal point of the celebration.

Natural Textures

Baskets, bird nests, and woven chargers bring a tactile quality to your table. They also complement spring’s general theme of nesting and renewal.

If you’re hosting a larger gathering, consider using place cards fashioned from wood – or incorporate linens with a raw-silk or linen weave. This will give it a touch of natural elegance.

The joy (and the best part) of creating an Easter tablescape lies in the personal touch you bring to it .

Regardless of the style or theme you choose, remember that the most important element is the love and attention you put into the details.
