Friday Favorites

Hi friends! How is it the last weekend of April already?! Wow, these months have been flying by but it feels like I blinked and April was already almost over! I have lots of blue and white pieces for you coastal-lovers this week. I’ve been on a bit of a spring cleaning kick this week so I think that carried over into this week’s blog post. There’s just something about white that feels so fresh and clean! Then add in some blues and you’ve got that fresh and calming feeling that you get after a good spring cleaning! Tell me I’m not the only person that feels this way!!

Coastal Friday Favorites

Drop Earrings

These “Fruit Salad Drop Earrings” (gotta love the name!) are 35% off right now, making them under $25. These statement earrings come in navy too, but I really love the soft blush tones in the muslin color.

Ruffled Puff-Sleeve Top

How cute is this white ruffled top from Madewell?! I will caveat that it’s final sale but it’s currently marked down to $20.99, and when you use code “BLOOMING” you’ll save an extra 30% – making the top under $15! The material is nice and light making it a perfect breezy top for spring!

Capri Braided Flip-Flops

Made in Italy, these braided Capri leather sandals have such a gorgeously simple look to them. They come in tons of different colors too – dark sand (shown here), pale yellow, ashen quartz, emerald, mist, and black.

“The Sunday Blues” Artwork

Does this “Sunday Blues” print not give off the most relaxing vibe? If you’re on the hunt for artwork, Minted in one of my go-to places because I love the quality and customization that they offer. Each of their prints come in all different sizes, with tons of frame and matting options. You can see this print of Portofino with the whitewashed herringbone frame that I purchased from Minted hanging here in my living room.

Fog Performance Rug

A great little money-saving tip for all of you – if you’re looking for rugs or lighting, don’t overlook Pottery Barn’s Baby, Kids or Teen shops. Yes, they have some age-appropriate products but they also have incredibly stylish pieces that I’d use in any room in my home. Not to mention, they are quite often less expensive than the main Pottery Barn store!

This Fog Performance Rug from Pottery Barn Teen is a great example. You’ll get the Pottery Barn look, and the 5×7 is $269 and the 7×10 is $549. Another great rug from PB Teen is this pretty Sunset Performance Rug, which comes in a 3×5, in addition to the two other sizes. Since these rugs resist stains, they would be great in a high-traffic area such as an entryway.

Gray Stripe Planter

This ceramic planter caught my eye this week as I was looking for a couple new planters for my home. Something about the gray and white stripes with crackling makes it look so beautiful! Of course it’s perfect for planting, but it also would look so nice on it’s own on a built-in shelf or bookcase, entryway table or dresser.

Decorative Sea Glass Beads

Decorative beads are a staple in my home – I place them on trays, on top of books or really anywhere I could use a little pop of color or texture. I love the color of these blue wave marine sea glass beads, and I’m thinking of picking them up to mix with my clear aqua sea glass beads.

Dotted Terracotta Planter

With spring here, I’ve had this urge to add a few more potted herbs to my kitchen window sills and I love these dotted terracotta planters. They come in two different sizes and I love the bright and clean look to them!

Fringe Bath Rug

We are in the process of renovating our downstairs full bathroom so I’ve been shopping for a few new accessories and bath essentials. If you’re looking to freshen up your bathroom, this Fia Bath Rug is nice and thick, and the pom pom and fringe detail are beyond adorable! It also ships free which is always a plus in my book!

Striped Turkish Hand Towel

This highly-rated Turkish hand towel also ships for free, and I love the blue chambray stripe on it for a coastal feel. This towel also comes in a pretty grey color as well!

Lace & Crepe Top

How many colors of the same top is too many to own?? I just adore this lace & crepe sleeveless top, which comes in so many different colors. I own it in ivory and black but love it in the soft pink color – especially with a little bit of tan. They are tops that (pre-COVID) I wore to the office underneath a cardigan all the time, and they transition really well for going out after work, or for a date night. Paired with jeans, a heel and drop earrings, it’s such a cute and easy look! No necklace necessary with this top!

Stitched Square Throw Pillow

I love finding pillows that are both affordable and stylish, and this stitched square throw pillow is a great option. At just $20 for this 18″x18″ pillow, it would look nice layered in front of a 20″ or 22″ pillow, or behind the lumbar pillow shown below.

Vertical Stripe Throw Pillow

Another affordable pillow option at $20, this vertical stripe throw pillow would look great on an armchair, or layered on a couch or bed for added dimension. I just love the blue and white stripe for a touch of spring and summer in your home!
