Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic first week of spring! We were blessed with some unseasonably warm temperatures here in the Boston area this week (60’s and low 70’s), and my husband and I booked a beach vacation to Turks & Caicos this week, which put me in an extra beachy mood! This trip was one that we had to cancel last March when COVID hit, so we’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to reschedule it. We had flight and rental car credits from our cancelled trip that were going to expire if we didn’t re-book by this week so we decided we’d go the week of my birthday. I will be turning the big 4-0 in July and Turks & Caicos is my favorite place on earth, so I couldn’t be more excited to spend it swimming in their clear, turquoise waters!
I hope you all enjoy this week’s beach-inspired Friday Favorites, and if there’s something specific you’re in the market for that you’d like to see in an upcoming Friday Favorites post, definitely let me know! My goal with this series is to save all of YOU time by sourcing great coastal decor and casual fashion on your behalf. I’d love to know what you’re all shopping for each week so that I can cater these posts to all of you!

Flutter-Sleeve Smocked Top
As soon as I laid eyes on this adorable striped mock top I knew I had to include it in this week’s Friday Favorites! I love the feminine ruffle detail on it, and the stripes are perfect for a casual beachy look. This top looks so cute paired with the denim cutoffs I included in this post, or a pair of white jeans! No front tuck necessary!
Relaxed Denim Shorts
Nothing says “casual summer look” like a good pair of denim cutoffs! I love that these have a relaxed, slightly looser slouchy look and with a 3″ inseam they aren’t super short. The wash is that perfect light to medium color and it’s definitely a pair of shorts that you can wear all through the spring, summer and early fall months.
Leather Boardwalk Sandal
If you’re looking for a leather sandal that goes with everything, but that doesn’t break the bank then this boardwalk sandal is a great option! I love that the footbed is padded too, making it a good everyday sandal. The “ashen sand” color featured here is beautiful, but this sandal also comes in camel, black and dusty rose. Size up though, as these do run small!
Rattan Earrings
While I love accessories in general, nothing gets me more excited than fun summer jewelry! Bright colors, beaded jewelry, rattan pieces – I just love it all! This pair of light-weight rattan earrings is under $10 (with free shipping if you have Prime!), and I love the light color and gold finish.
Large Multiband Wrist Cuff
I bought this gold cuff bracelet last winter to bring on my vacation to Turks & Caicos (which we sadly had to cancel), but I wore it all last summer and it’s such a fun accessory! I love that it’s reasonably priced, and like everything at Nordstrom, it ships for free.
Woven Rattan & Wood Boxes
I love the rattan and cane detail on these boxes, and they would look beautiful stacked together on shelves, a dresser or a console table. The small and large boxes are sold separately but would be a perfect addition to any coastal home.
Paulownia Wood Board
This paulownia wood board is such a beautiful and versatile kitchen accessory. Display it on your counter with fruit, or place it on it’s side and lean it up against your backsplash. Not only does it look pretty, but it will cover up any electrical outlets that you don’t like the look of!
Striped Two-Piece Swimsuit
How cute is this swimsuit?! Can you tell I have a thing for stripes and ruffles this week? Currently on sale, the french bikini top is fully lined (a must in my book!) and at the moment all sizes are stocked from extra small to extra large. The bottoms (also on sale and lined) have full coverage.
Turquoise Cuff Bracelet
While this turquoise cuff bracelet is a little more of a splurge piece, I am head over heels in love with it! It’s handmade in France, and the raffia detail is stunning! I think it’s one that could be warn almost every day in the spring and summer months and would make a great gift for someone special. Or, perhaps an early Mother’s Day gift for yourself!
Artificial Air Plant
I LOVE the look of air plants and even though they are supposed to be low maintenance, I’d still find a way to kill them (#blackthumb). So these artificial air plants are a great alternative if you’re anything like me! I have a long wood bowl similar to this one that I bought at a local home decor store, and I’m thinking I may purchase some of these air plants in different sizes to place in the bowl, along with some pretty candles for a simple look. These are also so great to rest in a small planter, or on a tray as a way to add some extra texture.
Blue Seaweed Framed Print
Wayfair used to sell a counterpart (blue coral) to this framed print which I own – so naturally I love this “Blue Seaweeds” framed print. This 29.75″x30″ print has a 2″ white mat, and the frame is a really pretty soft champagne color. I had it hanging in our dining area for a couple of years but it was always a tad small for our large wall so I plan on rehanging in our downstairs hallway once we repaint it.
Driftwood Bowl
I love the look of driftwood bowls and have been searching for one that’s affordable for a little while now. The retailer may surprise you since I don’t think to check Kohls for home decor but this driftwood bowl is currently 50% off right now making it less than $25!
“Coastal Blues” Coffee Table Book
This “Coastal Blues” coffee table book is a favorite in my own collection of coffee table books, and I love the blue cover for a pop of color in the spring and summer months. It’s available on Amazon, but I actually purchased my copy of “Coastal Blues” at Target since I get 5% off with my Red Card and was already placing an order for fun things like cleaning supplies and laundry detergent (ha!). Either way, they are pretty much the same price at both retailers so figured I’d link both!
Rattan Lanterns
Rattan lanterns are one of my summer decorating staples, and I love the lighter color of these ones. These white rattan lanterns come in three different sizes which would look so pretty grouped together on a fireplace hearth, or outdoors on a deck or patio. I also like the idea of using them as a centerpiece on a dining table (if you missed my spring tablescape post, you can view it here), and they could also be used on their own on a bookshelf, dresser or table.
