Friday Favorites

Hi everyone! We’ve almost made it through winter, and I’m beyond excited that spring officially arrives tomorrow! I don’t know about all of you but I’m ready for warmer weather, blooming flowers, dresses and sandals! I know many of you are freshening up your spaces for the change of seasons (as am I!) so I included lots of pretty home accessories in this week’s “Friday Favorites.”

Also, before we jump into this week’s favorites, I partnered with Tidal Living to give one winner a candle of their choice from Tidal Living’s new spring collection! Their amazing scents include Coconut + Verbena, Lilacs + Mimosas, Grapefruit + Mint, and Lemon Blossom. The winner will also receive a pretty apothecary bottle with matches, which would look so nice on a tray with one of their candles! Head on over to my Instagram post to enter. This giveaway ends Sunday, March 21st at 11:59pm Pacific Time.

Dune Bleached Wood Wall Art

I’ve been eying this dune bleached wood wall art for a few weeks now, and it’s so unique! It’s perfect if you’re looking for a neutral piece, and it would add such nice texture to a space. I think it would look great hung over a sideboard in a dining room, over a couch or bed, or at the end of a hallway!

Jupiter Double Old Fashioned Glasses

This set of six double old fashioned glasses is currently 25% off at Nordstrom right now (just $36, with free shipping!), and I just love this pretty sage color for spring! The sale colors also include a pink and fern color.

These glasses do come in additional colors as well, which are not currently on sale. I love this gorgeous pool blue color, and lagoon.

White Venatta Vase

I’ve had a few people asking me for a large white vase, and I love this affordable one from T.J. Maxx for spring stems and florals. If you’re looking for some faux florals and stems to place in the vase, I rounded up some of my favorite options last week and posted them in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, which you can also find here.

Tommy Bahama Geo Woven Pillow

I shared this indoor/outdoor Tommy Bahama pillow in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, along with lots of other beautiful coastal pillows all under $25 earlier this week. However, I included it here since it’s one that I, as well as a few of my other readers have purchased. I love that it has a removable zippered cover, so if you opt to use it indoors like I plan to, you can swap in a down insert. These are the down inserts that I use and love, and I always recommend sizing up to a 22″x22″ insert on a 20″x20″ cover so that you get a fuller look. Plus, the tassels on this pillow are just so fun!

Also, don’t wait long to purchase this pillow if you’re interested. Marshalls also stocked it and it already sold out!

White Textured Pillow

This white textured pillow is gorgeous on it’s own but it also pairs perfectly with the Tommy Bahama Geo Woven Pillow because it’s an 18″x18″ – so great for layering in front and creating depth and dimension. It’s also an indoor/outdoor pillow but just wanted to call out that the cover is not removable. Love the price on this one though – only $16.99!

This is another very similar textured white pillow that I love just as much, but with some extra tassels. Same price at $16.99!

Rattan Wall Hanger

Another coastal piece that I’ve been eyeing for several weeks is this cute rattan wall hanger! It would be great hung in an entryway, bathroom (with some pretty fringe towels), or even a bedroom!

Cane Handled Tray

I love everything about this gorgeous cane handled tray, including the color and the size! I’m envisioning it looking beautiful on a bathroom vanity, in an entryway (perfect for keys!), on a bookshelf, or on top of a dresser.

Whitewashed Wood Chain

Chain links have been a popular home accessory for a little while now (I have this wicker chain link on my TV console), but I really love the look of this natural, whitewashed chain link. These chains are ideal for filling those spaces that are a bit longer in length, but that you don’t want to overcrowd with a lot of different items. Dressers, sideboards, coffee tables and console tables are my favorite place to add chain links. While the photo shows the chain link spread across an open book, I also like to stack two (closed) books on top of each other and have a chain link cascade over the sides of the books.

Hyacinth Twisted Ball

The perfect small accessory for adding a touch of texture and interest, this hyacinth twisted ball can fit just about anywhere that you need a little extra something! Great on coffee tables, nightstands, shelves, or placed on top of a small stack of books.

Paulownia Wood Bowl

This hand carved paulownia wood bowl may just be my favorite of the week! I love the whitewashed look with the blue-gray coloring on the sides – the perfect colors for spring! It would be so pretty with this ocean potpourri inside the bowl (featured below), or if you can get your hands on it, this white shola flower filler from Target. The closest stores to me are out of stock and they won’t ship it to my zip code, but you may have better luck!

Once placing the ocean potpourri or flower filler into your bowl, place the blush glass beads (featured below) on top and then drape a portion of the beads over the side of the bowl. This look will add interest and soft color to your space! You can see an example of how I draped beads over the side of a bowl here in one of my Instagram posts.

Recycled Blush Glass Beads

While I love these blush-colored recycled glass beads paired with the wood bowl above, beads are one of my decorating staples because they are so versatile! I often drape them over the sides of pretty coffee table books or place them within a tray on my coffee table for a bit of extra texture. As you can see, I use my clear aqua glass decorative beads a lot, and these are also a very pretty color for spring and summer!

Ocean Potpourri

Sometimes potpourri can be a bit overpowering but I was passing by Pottery Barn a couple of days ago on my way home from my annual skin check appointment at my dermatologist’s office so I popped into the store real quick to see if they had this ocean potpourri. They did, and even though I smelled it with my mask on, it has a nice fresh scent that didn’t seem crazy strong. The shells, seaglass and driftwood would be so pretty in any wood bowl, and the great scent is just a bonus!

Waterfall Vase

I love the casual look of this waterfall vase, and it’s such a great size for a small side table, nightstand or bathroom vanity. It would also add a little pop of color if placed in a bookcase or some built-in shelves, and I’m thinking you could even place it on a desk to hold pens and pencils!

Coastal Carry-All Slouch Tote

Many think of Minted as a place to order invitations or birth announcements but they have all kinds of great gifts and items for the home! I don’t think any woman can ever have too many tote bags (am I right?!), and I love this coastal tote, which can also be personalized! This one is huge, making it great for the beach, day trips, or an airplane carry-on. It would also make a really great gift for upcoming birthdays or Mother’s Day!
