Hi everyone, and cheers to the weekend finally arriving! I was pretty excited to flip the calendar to March earlier this week, and it’s nice to see forty and fifty-degree temperatures in our weather forecasts. That sure beats weather in the single digits and teens!
I’ve been running a weekly feature on Casually Coastal’s Instagram and Facebook pages the last few weeks called “Friday Favorites,” where each Friday I share all of the coastal home decor and casual style (with a beachy vibe!) that has caught my eye that week. The response to this series has been overwhelmingly positive and I hear over and over from my followers how much they love it! So I wanted to bring this feature over to the blog for those of you who may not have social media accounts, or who aren’t very active users and may miss some of the posts. So without further delay, welcome to this week’s Friday Favorites!

La Jolla Basket
The La Jolla Basket comes in both blue and natural, but I really love the soft blue color. Make sure to check out all three sizes, which have different patterns. These seagrass baskets are great for adding texture to any space, whether it’s a living room, bedroom, bathroom or entryway. I also love these baskets placed below a console table, with a throw blanket peeking out the side. Additionally, you can use this basket as a hamper, or to store linens.
Bleached Bell Cups, Set of 6
For a spring look, I love these bleached bell cups on their own in a vase, or mixed in with soft pampas grass or dried delphinium.
Geometric Stripe Pillow Cover
Must I even say why I love this sunset canvas, which is framed in a natural wood floater frame?! I actually included it in my favorite coastal artwork blog post back in October and it’s still one of my favorites! This oversized, 38″x38″ artwork is so incredibly gorgeous and would look beautiful over a fireplace, in a dining room or bedroom.
It’s also available from a couple of other retailers as well, in different sizes. It can be purchased on Etsy in eleven different sizes, but the art does not come framed. It’s also available in three different sizes from Ballard Designs and you can purchase it framed or unframed.
White Wave Coral
This white wave coral from Pottery Barn is one of my favorite coastal accessories. I love it on it’s own, or stacked on top of a couple of beautiful coffee table books. Plus, it’s the perfect size to place on a nightstand, coffee table, side table or shelf.
Amina Dinnerware Collection
This Amina dinnerware collection stopped me dead in my tracks – I just love its soft coastal colors, and I think it would be perfect for summer if you’re someone who likes to change up your place settings each season. I’m also someone who loves pretty platters and serving bowls, and this Amina platter and Amina serving bowl would perfectly complement any white serveware that you might already own.
Faded Blue Ribbed Table Runner
I love changing up the decor on my table with each season, and I picked this ribbed blue table runner up a month or so ago with the intent to use it this spring. You can’t beat a table runner for under $20, and you’ll see it in my upcoming Easter tablescape post that will be in my blog in the coming week or so.
Paulownia Round Tray Set
I absolutely love the look of this white dipped tray set made out of paulownia wood. The large tray is 16″ and the small 14″. I love when trays come in sets because I often keep one for myself and use the other for a gift! These would be beautiful on a kitchen island or coffee table with a large candle, some decorative beads or a vase of fresh flowers or greens.
Rattan Romantica Chair
I think I may have saved the best for last! This rattan chair is a true piece of art with the intricate woven details that would make a statement in any room. Use it as a dining chair, desk chair or even next to a side table in your living room.
